# Domain mailbox

A mailbox bought on a lemlist [domain](https://developer.lemlist.com/api-reference/objects-definitions/domain.md), assigned to the team member who sends from it. Its provider is the one of its domain.

It is created in the background after [Order Mailboxes](https://developer.lemlist.com/api-reference/endpoints/domains/order-mailboxes.md), once its domain is ready: its `status` goes from `ordered` to `active`. Poll [List Domain Mailboxes](https://developer.lemlist.com/api-reference/endpoints/domains/list-domain-mailboxes.md).

Once connected, it is also a [mailbox](https://developer.lemlist.com/api-reference/objects-definitions/mailbox.md) of its user, the account campaigns send from.
